Valentine’s Day 2027 is Sunday, Feb. 14. As of Oct. 11, no Winston-Salem venue had announced 2027 Valentine’s events, which usually appear in January. Below are last year’s city events, with the year each date is from, plus date ideas you can plan now. We will add 2027 dinners and events here as venues post them.

Already on the calendar for February 2027

  • Winston-Salem Symphony, “ACTION! The Legacy of John Williams,” 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2027, at Reynolds Auditorium, 301 Hawthorne Road NW. Movie music from “Jaws” to “Harry Potter”; tickets $28 to $98, according to the symphony. It is the weekend before Valentine’s Day.

Date ideas in Winston-Salem

  • Reynolda Gardens. The gardens and grounds at 2201 Reynolda Road are open during daylight hours year-round, free. Reynolda House Museum of American Art, 2250 Reynolda Road, is open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, and closed Mondays, according to Reynolda. Reynolda Village has shops and restaurants; hours vary by business.
  • A walk at Salem Lake. The 7-mile trail circles the lake; the park gate locks at 7 p.m. See parks and trails.
