Every residential address in its zone is inside Winston-Salem’s city limits. Its zone sits inside the Paisley Magnet zone for middle school, and between Mount Tabor High (75%) and Reynolds High (25%) for high school. The locator is the final word for any single address.
Rezoning: the Board of Education voted on Oct. 28, 2025, to close Cook Literacy Model School in June 2026 and redraw residential boundaries to send Cook’s students to Ashley Academy, Brunson Elementary and Kimberley Park Elementary starting in the 2026-27 school year, the district reported. The city’s map layer used above still shows a separate Cook zone, so check any address in the former Cook zone with the locator.
