Eight burger places inside Winston-Salem city limits: downtown, the West End, Hanes Mall Boulevard, Reynolda Road, Robinhood Road and Harvey Street.

Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Burgers in Winston-Salem come from three directions: downtown, where Small Batch is at Fifth and Cherry streets; the West End, where Cin Cin Burger Bar is on West First Street and That Place is on Summit Street; and the chain corridors, with Bad Daddy’s on Hanes Mall Boulevard, Whataburger on Harvey Street, Five Guys on Robinhood Road and Culver’s on Fairlawn Drive.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Winston-Salem’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. A place is here if burgers are central to its menu or its own site names them. Fast-food chains with many locations around the city (McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Hardee’s, Sonic and Cook Out) are not listed one by one; their own store locators have every address. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
